5 tents blown away by storm

Last night blew five tents away by strong storm from the east.

Several of the Arctic Circle Races volunteers drove to the camp to keep the rest of the tents fixed. Among other ACR's Transport Manager Siiva Berthelsen, who took the picture from last night.

Ready on Friday

- There is no trace of tents blown completely away, says ACR President Jens Klaus Lennert, who now have a rush job to find 5 new custom arctic tents before Friday night where participants move in after the first race day.

- This year, ACR CAMP is located higher than the previous year, in a mountain pass where the wind can accumulate tremendously. But we'll be ready on Friday, assure Jens Klaus Lennert.
