Blind man finishes the first day at Arctic Circle Race

Arne Christensen (number 220) is the first blind man to participate in Arctic Circle Race, the world’s toughest skirace, which takes place in Greenland north of the polar circle.

Today he came in after 7 hours, 54minutes and 12 seconds. When he crossed the finishline he was tired but happy and in a good mood. “I am very tired but also very happy. It was an amazing day and it couldnøt be any better, I think. Now I’m tired and need some rest. Then I’ll be ready for another amazing day tomorrow” he says. DSC_2012.JPGDSC_2017.JPG
