With 231 participants from 16 countries, it is the largest meeting ever.

The man who got the idea for ACR Larseraq Skifte, and his wife, told in Greenlandic and English, about the different rules for the race.

Among other things, classical skiing is the only skiing allowed for ACR - if you skate, you will be disqualified. The same applies to littering in nature as ACR is a green run, and ACR want to keep Greenland green.

Safety

On the many checkpoints along the route, there are drinks and energy to the runners. There are also radio communications and medical assistants.

In addition, all runners will have a safety package that can keep them warm if they are injured or the weather turns bad.

Right now the weather forecast for the weekend is good, cold but no wind and lots of sun.

ACR starts at. 10 Friday morning local Greenlandic time (Europe minus 4 hours).
